Christy and Benson. These two are SO in love! They giggled and snuggled the whole session and I just LOVE that! I met Christy and Benson at one of my sweet couples’ wedding and fell in love with them and their story so fast! Benson, like my groom Markens from the beginning of this month, is from Haiti. Christy is from Roanoke, met Benson in Haiti, and they’ve been engaged since March. They are planning a gorgeous wedding at Hotel Roanoke and the Taubman Museum of Art in Roanoke for January. I seriously cannot wait to have them in front of my camera again for their wedding!

For their engagement session, we met at the University of Virginia in Charlottesville. Christy came with professional hair and makeup and the most gorgeous outfits! I knew that we’d be able to take pictures wherever we wanted since all of the students would be studying for exams and moving home for break. We got so lucky with our timing!
