On Colin and Adrianna’s wedding day, I told them that this is the closest I would ever get to a royal wedding. From the moment I pulled up to The Omni Homestead, I felt like I was entering a fairytale. It was just like all of the princess movies I watched as a child — a grand entrance, a stunning couple, and a horse-drawn carriage. Every detail was put together with incredible thought and it was perfect. From the wax sealed envelopes to the shoes covered in rhinestones, I was in photographer heaven.
Colin and Adrianna have been friends of ours for several years. We all went to Randolph-Macon together. Colin and Cameron played football together while Adrianna and I were the biggest R-MC Football fangirls. From the moment Adrianna emailed me about their wedding, I knew I HAD to be there! Adrianna is so detail oriented and I knew that their day would be so beautiful and special.
One of my favorite details from Colin and Adrianna’s day was the carriage that transported them to and from the resort and ceremony. It was absolutely breathtaking and gave us so many sweet photo opportunities!
Colin and Adrianna celebrated all day with their closest friends and family! The day that had been planned and re-planned 3 times, had finally arrived and everyone was more than ready to celebrate the McFaddens!
I feel so honored to have documented this season! Although it was far longer than any of us anticipated, every moment was filled with joy and excitement. Colin and Adrianna, I wish you two the very best as you begin your forever together. The best is yet to come!
