I don’t even know if I can put into words how perfect Jack and Kailey’s wedding day was. From the moment they booked with me, I’ve been counting down to this day and it did not disappoint. Some of you may remember Jack and Kailey from their UVA Engagement Session. These two radiate joy and love, and it’s been such a gift to celebrate this season with them. I’m honestly SO sad that it has come to an end, but I’m so grateful to call Jack and Kailey friends now.

Jack and Kailey got married at the beautiful Mount Ida Farm in Charlottesville, VA, and I can’t think of a more perfect setting for them to start forever. When I arrived at the bridal suite, I asked Kailey how she was feeling and she responded that she had no nerves and was at complete peace. Maybe it’s because her career involves public speaking as an anchor for Bloomberg, but I think it’s because her and Jack have a love that’s rock solid. If you’ve never seen two people truly in love, just wait until you see some of their portraits. The way that Jack and Kailey look at each other will give you butterflies.

One of my favorite parts of Jack and Kailey’s day was their reception. From their classy first dance to the lively party to celebrate their forever — every part was perfect. At the end of the mother/son dance, Jack’s brothers joined in for a group hug. There were so many moments during Jack and Kailey’s day that I had to try really hard not to cry.

Jack and Kailey, I love you both! Thank you for inviting me to celebrate this day with you! It was such a gift to me. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, Mr. and Mrs. Hamrick!
