Lee and Jessica’s day was so so special! The most perfect fall weather, a sweet ceremony, and a reception in the backyard of their new home – a day filled with the people they love! I can’t get over these two and their love! When I met up with them for their engagement session, it was so easy to see just how in love they were.

I started my day by meeting Jessica at The Mill at Fine Creek where she would be getting ready. It was the sweetest space to photograph details, and we had so much fun with Jessica’s precious family. Jessica’s dress was absolutely stunning! When paired with her sparkly boots – it was exactly what she had dreamed of!

The way Lee looked at Jessica as she walked down the aisle, with tears streaming down his face, gave me goosebumps. When they met at the arbor, it was like a scene out of a fairytale – so joyful and filled with anticipation. During her vows, Jessica shared that she prayed for a man like Lee. She prayed that, if this wasn’t God’s plan, He would close all doors to the relationship. No doors were closed, and this was God’s plan all along. It was such a gift to photograph a day so clearly orchestrated by God.

Lee and Jessica’s ceremony and reception were held in the backyard of the home they had recently purchased. Their day had so many personal touches, and it made for such a special day! Lee built so many things himself, including the arbor and the barn doors. Jessica put together all of the decor and floral arrangements at the reception. Lee and Jessica have such a gift for bringing their ideas to life!

At the end of the night, we celebrated the day by lighting and letting off lanterns into the sky. It was like a scene out of Tangled, and a literal dream!
