A Summertime Sylvanside Farm Wedding | Gaby and Erik | Virginia Wedding Photographer

After 7 years of dating, Gaby and Erik are OFFICIALLY husband and wife! That feels so surreal to say! Ahh! Gaby is one of my closest friends and we’ve talked about and dreamed of this day for so long! I had the honor of doubling as bridesmaid and photographer for her and I feel so so special. Gaby and Erik’s day was perfect from beginning to end, and was filled with people who were SO excited to celebrate them and their love story.

One of my favorite parts of Gaby and Erik’s day happened right after their ceremony. I walked back behind the ceremony space next to a small garden to find Gaby and Erik hugging with tears streaming down their face. They were overcome with emotion and everyone who encountered them in the following moments felt it too.

Gaby and Erik have a way of making everyone around them feel so special and loved – like they’re the only person in the world. Gaby and I have spent many nights in my car, eating dessert, and just talking for HOURS. I love our friendship, and I’m so thankful for it.

Gaby and Erik’s wedding day was filled with lots of love, big smiles, a few happy tears, and GORGEOUS light. I’m so excited to share some highlights from their day with you!
